Traveling to Western North Carolina

We are located in the Appalachian Mountains. There is no direct way to get here, but there are many scenic ways to arrive.
The closest airport is the Asheville Regional Airport in Asheville, North Carolina. From this airport, Jackson County (where most of our trips occur) is about 45 miles away. Both Delta and U.S. Airways travel into the Asheville airport. Other airports within driving distance to the area include Charlotte/Douglas International Airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and Greenville/Spartanburg International Airport. All airports offer car rental services, and driving from them offers amazing mountain views. |
Our Office
Where we fish varies day by day, but we recommend using Dillsboro, Sylva, Webster or Cullowhee, NC as a guidepost to determine how far your trip will be. All of AB's favorite fishing spots are a short drive through the beautiful countryside from any of these small towns. The map below shows one of our favorite "office" locations on the Tuckasegee River.
